Who we are
This website is operated by Legacy Wave Consulting (“Legacy Wave,” “we,” “us”), a Georgia business. Website: https://legacywaveconsulting.com. Mailing address: 8735 Dunwoody Place, Suite 6, Atlanta, GA 30350. Privacy contact email: legacy@legacywaveconsulting.com. Phone: (770) 868-6372.
Information we collect and why
When you take the Legacy Checkup™ and request your personalized report, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, state, ZIP code, preferred contact method, your checkup answers, and your consent selections. We also record the date and time of your consent, the exact consent wording shown, and how you arrived (referral code, campaign, UTM parameters, and landing page). We use this to prepare and deliver your report, respond about it, schedule a Legacy Review if you ask, and understand which outreach efforts bring families to us.
Assessment answers
Your checkup answers are used only to calculate your educational Legacy Readiness Score, personalize your report, and help our team prepare for a conversation you request. Assessment answers are never sent to analytics platforms or advertisers.
Vendors and service providers
We use a small number of service providers to operate this site: Emergent (secure application hosting and database), Cloudflare (website security and performance), Emergent's managed email delivery service (powered by Resend) to send your report and requested follow-ups, and Calendly for appointment scheduling. Google Fonts serves our typefaces. If we connect a CRM (such as GoHighLevel), leads are sent there through a secure server-side webhook only after you submit your information. Providers may process information only to deliver their service to us.
Data sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is shared only with the service providers above, with professionals you ask us to connect you with, or when required by law.
Cookies and analytics
Our own conversion measurement is privacy-safe, first-party event counting (for example, how many visitors start or complete the checkup) that never includes names, emails, phone numbers, ZIP codes, or assessment answers. Separately, Cloudflare — our security and performance provider — may process standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to protect and deliver the site. We do not use advertising trackers. Your browser may store a small session record (such as your referral code) so your experience stays consistent.
Data retention
We keep lead and assessment records for as long as needed to serve you and maintain our business records, after which they are deleted or de-identified. You may ask for deletion at any time (see below).
Security practices
We use HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed credentials for administrative access, rate limiting, server-side validation, and restricted access to lead data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or opt out of communications, at any time by contacting us through the Contact page or the privacy contact above. Educational emails include an unsubscribe option, and you may reply STOP to any text message to opt out.
Email and SMS practices
We email your requested report and, only if you separately opt in, occasional educational messages. Text messages are sent only with your separate consent, relate to your requested report, appointment, or opted-in education, and you may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is never required to purchase any product or service.
Children and minors
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
State-specific privacy rights
Depending on your state (for example, California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others), you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights. We honor those rights for all visitors regardless of state; contact us as described above. Legacy Wave Consulting is a Georgia business, and insurance services are offered only where we are appropriately licensed — currently GA, IN, MI, OH, NC, TX, TN, FL, and NM.
